How Long (time) Does It Take To Repair The Crack(s)?
Every situation is different, and we can provide you a better idea when we know the details of your situation. However, most countertop repairs take about a half day, and some will take up to all day.

Is the Repair Service Messy – Will You Leave a Mess?
Our Service is 99% DUST FREE. We use vacuum attachments on all tools so the dust does not go airborne. After the technician is completed with the service, you should have very little to NO clean up, just a brand new looking countertop!

Will I Be Able to Notice Where The Repair Was Done?
It is almost always unnoticeable to the naked eye to find where the repair occurred, and is usually inconspicuous! That is one of the key benefits to solid surface, it is extremely renewable. What Is "Color Match" And Why Is It Important?
"Color Match" refers to an extra piece of solid surface material, left behind from the original installation, which can be used for the repair. This is often a cutting board, or sometimes it is a scrap piece left in the garage, or in the sink cabinet. If you don't have color match material, sometimes we can remove and replace a side splash to obtain color match for a perfect repair on your countertop

Can I Get An Exact Price?
Yes. After we have details of the situation, we provide you a cost range for the service over the phone. After the technician arrives, we provide you an exact price within the quoted range, before we start service.

Do You Accept Credit Cards?
No. we prefer to be paid by check.

Is It Common for Corian® (Solid Surface) To Crack?
No. It is estimated that less than 2% of residential Corian countertops develop a crack. The good news is that Corian is extremely renewable and can be repaired, instead of replaced, usually without any evidence of any repair being performed.

What About My Warranty- Am I Covered?
Maybe, if it is within the warranty time period. Corian offers a 10 year limited warranty, and a few manufacturers offer a 15 year limited warranty. Contact the manufacturer of your solid surface material for complete details.

How Can I Prevent My Countertop From Cracking Again?
Although there are various reasons for a solid surface countertop to crack, but the most common is excessive heat. We recommend you use a trivet under all electric appliances and hot pots. Please see manufacturers’ guidelines on daily use of your countertops.

Is Solid Surface Repair Insured, Licensed and Bonded?
Yes.

Do I Need To Be Present The Entire Time You Are Working?
No. Often, our customers leave to go to work, errands, etc… while we perform the service. It is preferred to meet you when we arrive to inform you of how we perform our service and set expectations, but not always necessary. Our first service appointment can start as early as 7am, upon request. (However, if someone is present, they must be at least 18 years old).
